Equal Pay Day is March 15, 2022, but equal pay is only achievable if we continue to push all year long.
This date symbolizes how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year. Women working full time and year round are paid 84 cents for every $1 paid to a man.
Women are working longer hours and pursuing higher education in greater numbers. Despite this progress, significant wage gaps between men and women persist—particularly for women of color.

How You Can Take Action
For individuals:
- Donate! Visit here (all donations are powered through DailyKarma) OR visit Girls Inc. directly to donate.
If you’re a brand:
- Highlight the gender pay gap by including an optional 'Privilege Tax' at checkout on your e-commerce site. Give your customers the opportunity to donate $1 on top of their purchase.
o We love the DailyKarma app here for quick implementation. Check in with the DailyKarma team with any questions regarding implementation.
o Commit to a % net proceeds donation should updating your checkout not be an option with your developer.
All fundraising efforts should be directed to Girls Inc., a charity
committed to inspiring girls to be strong, smart, and bold.
