Sweets In Moderation!

During one of my killer workouts this morning, I was listening to Maroon 5’s song “Sugar, yes please, is” and I had to write this blog.

 

Now that Halloween and Thanksgiving are over and we all indulged in eating way too much yummy candy and sweets, I want to remind you, as well as remind myself, that although sugar from gummy bears, Kit Kats, Snickers, etc. tastes fantastic it is not the ideal choice for your health.  I have made it my mission, although not without a few slip ups, to cut sugar out of my diet, and honestly when I do, I feel great!

 

I know the next few weeks of the year make it even harder to stay on track with all the parties, celebrations, big family gatherings, and other festive commitments, but just remember, you work HARD to become an EleVen so JUST SAY NO! (at least in moderation!)

 

Believe me, I know it’s not easy. I have the world’s biggest sweet tooth; but if you are going to have sugar, choose your favorite fruit that is in season or a square of organic dark chocolate, and save the milk chocolate for another time.  Your body will thank you later!

 

I guarantee the next morning when you go to put on your Elevate Performance Tank,  Power Play Sports Bra and your Voltage Capri’s, you will already be ahead of the game.
