"I Want My Butt Back!" Some Advice To Get It!

If it seems like it is becoming harder and harder to keep your backside toned, you are not imaging things — and you are not alone!
As we get older, “fat naturally atrophies and the skin can become loose, making the butt appear as if it's sagging” and making cellulite appear more prominent, according to Prevention. In addition, we lose an average of five percent of our muscle mass every 10 years after the age of 35. The fact is, you are correct that it does become more and more difficult to keep your posterior toned and fit.
However, just because having a great butt becomes more challenging as we get older, that doesn’t mean it is not possible! Fitness magazine recommends their top three all-time best butt moves: The Bridge; Modified Warrior Three and Side Squats. These moves will help you get your butt back on track.
In addition to these three key moves, the magazine also offers 10 tips for getting your butt back. Here are some of the highlights:
-Slow Down: Don’t rush your butt workouts! Take at least four counts to lower into a squat, and then two to three to come up. This provides your muscles with an adequate amount of time to fully contract, which the magazine says will help you to maximize the benefits.
-Tone While You Walk: Being mindful of how you move while you are walking can help you to improve your butt. Here’s how Fitness describes the process, “With each step, when one leg extends behind you, keep your heel on the ground as long as possible. When you do lift your heel, roll through the foot, then push off with your toes.”
-Do Mini-Workouts Throughout the Day: The author says she keeps a set of ankle weights handy to do leg lifts throughout the day, as well other quick on-the-go moves.
-Keep Your Rear in View: While you are working on getting your butt back, you might be tempted to keep your butt hidden under baggy clothes. However, Fitness recommends that you wear yoga pants or tight-fitting shorts to help you see your progress and observe your muscles moving while you workout.
